Description
The IR Wireless Remote Control Module Kit is a complete infrared wireless remote control set consisting of a 17-key CR2025-powered IR transmitter remote and a 38kHz IR receiver module, operating at 3.3V to 5V DC with digital output on three pins — Signal, VCC, and GND — for direct Arduino digital input connection.
The infrared wireless remote control transmits NEC-protocol IR signals at 38kHz, the standard frequency demodulated by the VS1838B-type receiver chip on the module, and covers a wireless range of up to 8 metres in direct line-of-sight conditions.
The infrared wireless remote 17-key layout includes numeric keys 0 to 9, four directional arrows, an OK/Enter key, and special function keys — giving the ir infrared remote control receiver kit enough input channels for robot directional control, relay switching, menu navigation, and multi-function IR controller builds. The IRremote Arduino library supports NEC protocol decoding directly, and each button on this ir infrared remote control receiver transmits a unique 32-bit NEC code readable in a single line of Arduino code using irrecv.decode().
the infrared ir remote control receiver requires unobstructed line of sight — the IR receiver cannot decode signals through walls, around corners, or when the receiver is facing away from the remote. Bright sunlight and incandescent lamp interference can also reduce reliable range. This StemVolt kit is a practical starting point for engineers building IR-controlled electronics systems and practical wireless Arduino projects.
