The shield breaks out all the GPIO pins on the micro: bit control board into a 3PIN interface (GND, 3.3V, GPIO), very easy to connect the micro: bit control board and other sensor modules.

Moreover, it also extends some commonly-used serial communication interfaces such as I2C and SPI communication pins. So that this shield will allow communication between the micro: bit control board and other communication devices.

This shield comes with onboard L293d which helps you to control 2 motors bi-directional at a time, a 4-pin Ultrasonic sensor male berg header, a 4-pin OLED IIC male header, 3 slots of Servo motor, and 3 JST slots of Sensors which make your learning easy & joyful.

You can power the micro: bit board through a black DC jack (DC 7-9V) or a micro USB port (DC 5V) on the shield.

When powering the sensor or other external devices, you could select the extra supply voltage of 3.3V or 5V for them.
